1. Introduction
TimeBloxx is a booking platform. This page explains what we collect and what we do with it. The short version: we use your info to run the booking and reminders, and we delete appointment details (name, phone, email, etc.) within 30 days after the appointment. More detail is in section 6 below.
2. Information We Collect
When you book an appointment (client): We collect the information you provide, such as name, phone number, email address, optional service type, and notes. This is used to create and manage your appointment and to send confirmations, reminders, and (if you use it) reschedule or cancel links.
SMS Consent (Optional): Providing your phone number does not automatically enroll you in SMS messaging. SMS is completely optional and is not required to book or use the service. During booking, a separate, unchecked-by-default checkbox asks: "Send me text messages about my visit (confirmations and reminders). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop." Only if you voluntarily check this box will we send you SMS messages. You may book appointments and use all features of TimeBloxx without opting in to SMS. If you do opt in, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Message frequency is 1-4 messages per appointment. Standard message and data rates may apply.
When you run a shop (business admin): We collect your business name, slug, contact email, and optional branding (e.g., logo URL). We also store your availability settings, blocked times, and appointment data. We use session cookies or similar means to keep you signed in to the admin dashboard.
Waitlist: If you sign up to be notified when a slot opens, we store your email or phone number and the date/shop you requested, so we can notify you when availability changes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide booking, reminders, rescheduling, and cancellation.
- To send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders) and, only if you voluntarily opt in via the booking form checkbox, SMS messages via third-party providers. SMS is never required to use the service.
- To notify waitlist signups when a slot becomes available.
- To operate and secure the Service, prevent abuse, and improve our product.
- To comply with legal obligations when required.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted providers to run the Service, for example: email delivery (e.g., Resend), SMS (e.g., Twilio), and hosting/databases. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver messages and store information. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for marketing.
5. Data Sharing
Appointment and contact details you provide when booking are shared with the business you book with so they can fulfill the appointment. We do not sell or rent your data to advertisers or other third parties for their marketing. We may disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
6. How long we keep data
Booking data (appointments): We delete appointment records (name, phone, email, service, notes) within 30 days after the appointment. After that we don't keep it. Reschedule and cancel links stop working once the record is gone.
Business and account data: We keep your shop profile and account info while you're using the product. If you want it deleted, contact us (see Contact).
We might keep a minimal amount longer if the law says we have to, or to enforce our Terms.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is completely secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and to protect your confirmation/cancel links.
8. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use session-based storage (e.g., cookies) to keep you logged in to the admin area and to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core booking and admin flows.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also unsubscribe from non-essential emails using the link in those emails where provided. For SMS messages, you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Contact
